The City of Blue Ridge is accepting applications for a part-time customer service position.  Applicants must have excellent communication and problem solving skills along with a professional and friendly personality.  Applicants must have prior office experience, be efficient in Microsoft Office, have basic computer skills, pass a background check and be able to work past 5:00 p.m. as needed. 

City of Blue Ridge is seeking applicants to fill a part time Maintenance Worker position in the water & sewer distribution department. Must be available to work nights/weekends and on-call shifts when required. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record are required. Knowledge of technical and mechanical skills related to general plumbing and pipe fitting preferred. Ability to operate basic computerized equipment is required. Physical ability should include but not be limited to lifting, pushing, carrying heavy objects (50 lbs. and over), reaching climbing, and bending on daily basis. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

The Blue Ridge Police Department is currently accepting applications for both full-time and part-time Police Officer positions. The candidate must be P.O.S.T. certified and in good standings with P.O.S.T. and will be required to work 12-hour shifts. Shifts and other duties will be assigned by administration upon hiring. Full-time hires will receive insurance and benefits. Applications may be picked up at City Hall, 480 West First Street, Blue Ridge, Ga. 30513, Monday–Friday 8:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. Applications must be submitted in person at City Hall.

The City is accepting applications for a Facility Project Coordinator and Park Department Supervisor Position - Must be available to work nights, weekends, overtime and holidays when required.
